Windows in the Holy Land

Happy Monday All! :)

Earlier this year my husband and I had the wonderful privilege to go to Israel! We were there for three weeks and went to over 70 sites. It was a very busy trip, but well worth it... and yes, we took LOTS of pictures!  I am slowly working on getting them edited and compiled into an album.

Here is are a few shots from our journey to the Holy Land:
This was taken in the Old City of Jerusalem. We were leaving Saint Annes Church and I saw these beautiful teal windows and shutters... and I had to take a photo.

This next one was also taken in the Old City of Jerusalem outside of the Gloria Hotel, where we stayed for a few days. (I have a thing for pretty windows.)

Things I Love... 2

It's been a few months since I have written on "Things I Love". First one was here.

It's a way for you to get to know me a bit better, hopefully. There really are tons of things on my "Love List" So here are a few that I'll share this time: 

Butterscoth Scones.

Last night, I made scones for the very first time... and they turned out amazing. The recipe is found here. I altered the recipe only a little by changing the chocolate chips to butterscoth chips. Oh and instead of wedges they were hearts. They just melt in your mouth.

My Highschool Sweetheart

Ok.. I know I "Loved" him last time I did this... But this week was a special one for us... on Monday, we celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary! To celebrate our love.. here's a picture from our wedding day.

Netflix

Granted they do not have the selection they once had, but to watch a movie or a tv series with out having to skip through commercials is SO wonderful. We have had Netflix for 2 years now and love it. I can even watch it on my iPhone.

Family Portraits: Martha, Daniel, Ava

It was a beautiful So Cal day, sun shining, cool breeze off the ocean... Perfect to take family portraits!

Will Rogers State Park in LA was a great location... nice green grass, tall shade trees, very well kept.

I had such an enjoyable afternoon talking, laughing, and taking their pictures. Daniel is at UCLA studying to be doctor, Martha is busy at home watching Ava and taking care of the home.

They are such an adorable and sweet family.
