Making Cookies, WrappingPresents, Decorating, Picking the Perfect Christmas Tree, Spending Time with Family, Sipping Hot Cider, Getting Caught under the Mistletoe, Christmas Carols, Christmas Cards, Snow (unless you live in So Cal), Stockings hung by the fire... all gives you a warm fuzzy feeling inside reminding you it's Christmas Time.
However, we are quick to forget the Real Reason for the Season which is the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus. We sing about Him (Silent Night, Hark the Harold Angels Sing..),
but don't think about Him and what significance His life here on earth brings.
This year I tried to be purposefully focused on the blessing of Christ's birth... it has given me great joy and a thankful heart to God for sending us His Son, to redeem us from our sins.
What a gracious & loving God we have!
May you have a Merry Christmas with your Families and Loved Ones
"For today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord."
